Erydor: The Little Forager of Forgotten Paths

 Hello Friends,

It's been a little bit since I've shared a tale with you. I have been gathering more stories over that quiet time though.

Today's is another one of my little impkins, Erydor. He's my latest addition to the growing Impkin mischief (collection). Here's his story.........

Eryndor in one of his favorite places

Deep within the old forest, where the sunlight filters down in soft, wandering ribbons, lives a tiny wanderer named Erydor. Most travelers never notice him — he moves like a flicker of shadow, a rustle of moss, a whisper between roots. But the forest knows him well. It always has.

Erydor was born with an insatiable curiosity, the kind that pulls him toward every hollow log and shimmering puddle. To him, the woods are not simply a place to explore — they’re a living puzzle, full of secrets waiting patiently to be found.

Erydor believes that the forest hides its magic in the tiniest objects. A curled piece of birch bark. A stone split by time. A fallen berry that stains his hands red. He gathers these treasures with reverence, tucking them into his little pouch as though each one is a key to something greater.

Some say he can sense when an object has a story attached to it — that he feels a soft hum in his palms when he picks up something special. Whether that’s true or just woodland gossip, Erydor never tells.

He’s happiest when he’s following a path no one else sees. A trail of mushrooms that form a perfect crescent. A line of pawprints too small to belong to any known creature. A glimmer of light that might be a firefly… or something older.

Erydor has a habit of wandering farther than he intends, but he never seems lost. The forest guides him, nudging him toward new discoveries. Sometimes he returns with pockets full of treasures. Other times he brings back nothing but a grin and a story about a squirrel who tried to steal his hat.

What makes Erydor special isn’t just his curiosity — it’s the way he shares it. He reminds his keeper that wonder isn’t found in grand adventures but in the quiet corners of the world. A pebble. A leaf. A moment of stillness beneath a tree.

Wherever he goes, Erydor carries the spirit of the forest with him: brave, gentle, and endlessly enchanted.

Adopt Erydor today and welcome a gentle adventurer into your home — a keeper of mossy secrets and woodland charm.
